Dr. Oyenuga is one of our newest members at HeartPlace Plano. He specializes in Cardiac Electrophysiology. He graduated medical school from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria. He then went on to do his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and his fellowships at the University of Chicago in Illinois. Dr. Raza is trained in invasive and advanced non-invasive cardiology. This includes Echocardiography (including intra-op and intra-procedural TEE for TAVR, left atrial appendage occluders) and Nuclear cardiology (PET and SPECT) at the University of Vermont with additional training in Advanced Cardiac Imaging (Cardiac MRI and Cardiac CT) at Harvard's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His interests include general cardiology and cardiovascular consultations, preventative cardiology, stress testing, and the management of both acute and chronic cardiovascular issues on both an in-patient and out-patient basis. Formally he was the President of the medical staff of Medical City Dallas Hospital, the Dallas County Medical Society and on the Board of Governors for the American College of Cardiology in DC. Amongst other leadership roles Dr Snyder currently serves as the Chairman of ASPEN specialty physician network, on the Board of Trustees of the Texas Medical Association, on the Dallas County Health and Human Services Public Health Advisory Committee.
